Your adventure begins with an overnight flight to Reykjavík, Iceland. Once you land, your orientation will officially begin with some of our favorite icebreakers and “get to know you” activities.
Known as ‘smoky bay’ for its natural geysers and geothermal springs, Reykjavík is the northernmost capital of the world and is increasingly well-known for its culture, art, history, and natural beauty. Relax in the famous Blue Lagoon, raft the Hvítá River, marvel at the Geysir Hot Springs and explore Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. The capital is our base to explore the world’s most magnificent waterfalls, bubbling geysers, black sand beaches and hot springs. It is no surprise that people from around the world flock to Reykjavik and the surrounding areas of the Golden Circle and South Coast to experience these natural wonders.
South Coast
How many rainbows will you spot at Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls? The natural wonder this program offers continues as you walk by puffins on the Reynisfjara black sand beach. Put on crampons and, with an ax in hand, head up the Sólheimajökull Glacier for a Mountaineering Experience.
Your next stop is Oslo, Norway’s bustling capital. Begin with a day of exploration as you visit the city’s iconic landmarks, including Vigeland Sculpture Park, Oslo City Hall, and the modern Opera waterfront. Take an adrenaline-pumping ride down the Kollensvevet Zipline, soaring above the city for stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The adventure continues as you set sail on a breathtaking fjord cruise to take in Norway’s iconic natural beauty up close. A day trip to Lillehammer, home of the 1994 Winter Olympics, adds another layer of excitement as you explore this charming town. Before you leave, dive into Oslo’s cultural scene with a visit to the MUNCH Museum.
Board an overnight ferry for a scenic journey to Copenhagen.
Arrive in the lively city of Copenhagen, where you’ll dive into its rich culture and renowned sights. Start with a walking tour of the city, visiting landmarks like Rosenborg Palace and the colorful Nyhavn district. Enjoy the views during a canal cruise of the city's iconic homes, inventive architecture, and historic landmarks, and enjoy a magical evening at Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks. Continue on with kayaking in Stege Bay, offering you a unique perspective of Denmark’s natural beauty. Then, take a day trip to the stunning Møns Klint, where you’ll hike the dramatic coastal cliffs. After a packed day, relax at Copenhagen’s harbor baths or one of its beaches. The charm and adventure of Copenhagen will leave a lasting impression as you prepare for the next leg of your journey.
Fly to the heart and soul of Greece and its capital city of Athens. Marvel at the astounding architectural feat of the Parthenon and Acropolis. Swim the turquoise waters during a private sailing charter. See Aphrodite amongst her friends in the Acropolis Museum just down the hill from where she used to live. Wander through the charming streets of the Plaka district, where you can enjoy the traditional Greek food and shop for souvenirs. With each corner of the city rich in history, Athens offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion and modern adventure before you head to the islands.
Paros, considered one of Greece’s most beautiful islands, is known for its stunning landscapes and charming towns. Ferry across the Aegean Sea to the ancient port town of Parikia. You’ll enjoy a sunset cruise from the quaint fishing village of Aliki, followed by some time spent learning how to cook traditional Greek dishes in an authentic Parian cooking class. Explore the lively towns of Naoussa and Parikia, with their classic whitewashed and blue-accented houses and historical monasteries and churches. Take a ferry to the nearby island of Antiparos for kayaking and beach time. Paros is the perfect island getaway, offering a mix of relaxation and adventure amidst breathtaking surroundings.
Once you visit, you'll always remember the signature view of the white-painted houses of Fira, with sheer cliffs, blue skies & sea. Enjoy sunsets over the volcano in this amazing city. Explore the town of Fira with a cable car ride to the port. Voyage across the sea to hike the volcano Nea Kameni and stop to swim in the hot springs that surround it. Enjoy dinner in the picturesque town of Oia, where the sunset views are unforgettable. Explore the incredible coastline with red, white and black sand beaches on our guided sea kayaking excursion and swim in the waters of the Aegean Sea. Santorini is filled with adventure and relaxation, making this leg of the journey a perfect mix of excitement and tranquility.
Return to Athens for your final night, where you’ll enjoy a banquet dinner and one last chance to explore the city. Wander the streets of the Plaka district, shop for souvenirs, and take in the illuminated Acropolis before wrapping up this incredible journey through four countries.

What is the difference between an Active Teen Tour and a Global Adventure program?
Our Active Teen Tours offer larger group sizes (generally 35-48 participants) and travel in deluxe motor coaches. Accommodations include quality hotels and occasional fun college residences.
Global Adventures are smaller group experiences (generally up to 26 participants on all itineraries other than the 17, 20 or 25-day Greece & Italy, 20-day Greece & Portugal or 10-day Greek Islands, which varies from 24-36 participants.)
Groups travel by private motor coaches and occasional public transportation internationally, and use passenger vans in the USA. Select European programs travel exclusively by train and public transportation. While these programs have a slightly bigger focus on adventure travel, we stay in quality hotels and lodges, always ensuring a good night’s rest.
