What a great start we’ve had to our adventures in Italy and Greece. From the moment our trip members arrived in Rome, we’ve been having so much fun exploring this beautiful city as we all get to know one another! It’s only been a few days into our trip, but we’ve already been immersed into Italian culture, have enjoyed some great food, and seen some amazing sights.
Our first dinner really got us into the Italian spirit, as we got to experience a Toga Party! What impressed us the most though was certainly the impromptu dance concert we got to witness, and some of our Trip Members even participated in a Conga Line! Our first dinner together was a great time and we shared many laughs and smiles along the way.
On our third day in Rome, we got a new Trip Member… if you count a mascot as a Trip Member, which we sure do! Our new trip mascot, was introduced to us earlier this week and has been part of our trip family ever since. “Popollo” has been coming with us everywhere, and we try to include him in some of our photos too!
As we carried on through the city, our joyful stroll led us to some of the most iconic spots in Rome. The Colosseum, the Vatican and the Trevi fountain were all so much more fascinating than we imagined. We’ve also been so lucky with this beautiful warm weather, which gives us a good reason to indulge in some delicious gelato!
We can’t believe how much we’ve already done and it’s only been the first few days. With such a great start to our trip, we are all so excited for the adventures to come! Next, we are off to Perugia!
Ciao for now!
