Waterfall repelling is an unprecedented experience!  So COOL!  After this program I feel more altruistic.  I have done something good to improve the quality of others’ lives that aren't as privileged as mine.  My favorite community service project was working with the children in La Carpio because they were constantly joyful which brought joy to me.  It was nice seeing a direct impact.

We were very impressed at the way everything was handled.  The adults in charge of these teenagers were taking their responsibilities very seriously. Dustin was sad to not be going back to camp this summer but after coming home, he said this was the best summer they have ever had! He has already gotten in touch with many of his new friends from the trip. We look forward to sending our daughter on a Westcoast Connection trip in the future.

Westcoast Connection changed my life.  The European Experience enriched my knowledge of all the different cultures, people and lifestyles there are throughout the world!  I learned more than I'll ever be able to repay them for!

Actually speaking with locals is very helpful - much more than learning Spanish in a classroom at school. I have made best friends, I am eager to return to school to learn more Spanish and I'm going to look into volunteering at orphanages near my home.  It was an amazing three and a half weeks. Carlos our guide was really amazing. He was always supportive and helpful. This trip was so rewarding!
