Mark had the time of his life. He came back a more mature and independent teenager. The staff was superb from beginning to end. Thank you Westcoast for giving my son the summer of a lifetime. He will treasure these memories for the rest of his life. Every aspect of the trip was perfect from the staff, tour monitors to the sights of Europe!!!

My favorite community service project was Beans Café. I realized that a conversation can mean so much. I also broke down some of my stereotypes. I feel that I am more open-minded, that some of my fears have been conquered and stereotypes changed and were eliminated. This trip gave me such a great feeling about myself and I learned a lot about myself. The experience was unreal.

FAIRFAX STATION

We were very impressed at the way everything was handled.  The adults in charge of these teenagers were taking their responsibilities very seriously. Dustin was sad to not be going back to camp this summer but after coming home, he said this was the best summer they have ever had! He has already gotten in touch with many of his new friends from the trip. We look forward to sending our daughter on a Westcoast Connection trip in the future.

VIRGINIA BEACH

Actually speaking with locals is very helpful - much more than learning Spanish in a classroom at school. I have made best friends, I am eager to return to school to learn more Spanish and I'm going to look into volunteering at orphanages near my home.  It was an amazing three and a half weeks. Carlos our guide was really amazing. He was always supportive and helpful. This trip was so rewarding!
