TRIP SUMMARY

Two islands covered in majestic mountains, volcanoes, glacier lakes, fjords and populated by only 4 million people but 55 million sheep: there is truly nowhere else in the world like the land of the long white cloud. Kiwis are blessed with a country that offers breathtaking scenery and thrilling adventure. On the North Island you will whitewater raft a 22’ waterfall, zorb and luge down mountains overlooking a caldera, trek across the famous Mt. Doom (the Tongariro Alpine Crossing). Then you are off to the rugged South Island where you will go catamaran sailing in Abel Tasman National Park; glacier mountaineering on Franz Josef Glacier (climb in, on and through the glacier!); skiing or snowboarding on the Southern Alps; jet boating through the Shotover Canyon; and even cruising the magnificent Milford Sound. This is no ordinary summer; it’s the adventure of a lifetime.
