I never thought I'd be able to be such great friends with so many different people. I am now friends with people from Canada, the US, France and Spain! It's incredible! Everything on the trip seemed very well organized. The kids were kept busy, had a lot of fun with well-organized activities, and the parents were kept well informed. The email updates were excellent! Thanks for an amazing summer. I loved the American Voyageur, best trip ever!! Laura had a wonderful time. She was especially impressed with the counselors and the activities. We were impressed with the number and variety of activities offered and will definitely consider another Westcoast trip for him in the future. My director Symon truly made the trip what it was. He is so down to earth and relates and listens to the kids so well. I loved zorbing-it was so much fun! On this trip I had great new experiences with new friends and memories that last a lifetime. My director Symon was amazing, enthusiastic and always wanted to have fun. He had so much spirit and energy. I had the best summer ever on Westcoast. The friends I made will last forever. The places and activities were incredible and the staff was great. The memories will last you a lifetime. There's nothing like Westcoast Connection. I wouldn't trade my Westcoast summer for anything! Westcoast Connection certainly lived up to its reputation. We couldn't be happier for Shawna and her entire group for the absolutely wonderful experience that this trip provided. Every conversation started with "Mom, today was the best day of my life!" How can you top that? I was so impressed how we were continuously kept up to date by the newsletters and the photos that were uploaded so regularly! I felt like we were traveling along with our kids. The methods that you use to integrate the kids with each other so that everyone is part of one cohesive group are fantastic. The friendships she made will certainly last a long time as these kids shared such amazing experiences together. I can't say enough about the trip director Symon according to the feedback from my daughter, as well as all the staff, who really have this trip down to a science. Thank you for providing this growing and developmental experience, and memories that will last a lifetime! My director Symon made my summer incredible! This was an experience of a lifetime. Westcoast Connection exceeded my expectations. After every day, I claimed it was the best day ever but the following day was even better. When I came on this trip I didn’t know what to expect, but this was definitely above anything I would have imagined. My favorite project was the Maricopa County Animal Care because it was fun to walk around with the dogs and take care of them. This program really opened me up to new experiences and made me a well-rounded person. Jordan Kafka

We were very impressed with the communication. The e-mail updates were great, as were the posted pictures.We were kept up to date and got some wonderful descriptions of all the fabulous activities - sometimes in greater detail than we could get from our own son! He and his many new best friends are already planning next summer's trip. Thanks for everything. I've been to California before but with Westcoast Connection the experience was completely different. I will never forget this trip! The staff was great and I know I made friends that will last a lifetime! Kids Kitchen was my favorite service project in Alaska because I was actually accomplishing something and making a difference in the lives of those kids. This program has enabled me to learn a lot about myself and to grow as a person. Not only did I become more independent, but I matured too and gained an appreciation for new things. I met such great people and the travel experience was very rewarding. Thanks so much for everything on Dillan's trip. I really appreciate the fabulous program that you guys run. I loved my director Sam. She was so responsible and a lot of fun too. This trip has been a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have overcome many fears and didn't get homesick once! Working at the Sihlekisi school was the best part of the trip because the kids were so much fun to play with. This program has prepared me for future things involving community service. It was so great and I am excited to do another Westcoast/360 trip next summer! The Acornhoek community project was the best because we really helped the kids and did a lot for the community. It showed me a new way to view the world. The balance between service and adventure was great. The service gave me a new perspective on life and I loved putting a smile on the kids' faces. It was a summer of a lifetime! Thanks for providing such a wonderful trip of a lifetime for our son Joey. We were very impressed with the updates in what the kids were doing and where they were. We really enjoyed receiving the online photos. This really helped us to feel more connected with what the kids were doing, that they were safe and happy, and being well looked after. These trips are great for anyone no matter what their interests. Whether you like sight seeing or love playing sports there is something for everyone. It is a great experience and you get to meet new people and see new places. My director Matt was incredible! All of the staff was excellent and fun to be around. The kids were so cool and really outgoing! European Experience was a blast! My director Samantha was amazing! All the places were so cool and I made so many new friends! I loved this trip so much and I had the best time. It was amazing! I loved my director Symon. He was so laid back and cool. This trip was amazing and was by far the best summer ever! I heard this was going to be an unbelievable trip and it was! My director Andy was amazing! The trip was an amazing experience; you meet people from all around the world and have fun at the same time. This trip was a great way to learn different things about other people and yourself! Sy's trip out West was awesome. He came back with story upon story and was so happy to tell us all the highlights. Certainly a trip of a lifetime, and one he will never forget. Michael's trip to Costa Rica was again, an awesome experience. He loved the horseback riding, rappelling down waterfalls, hanging at the beach, and so much more. Such a wonderful experience to meet new people, learn about different cultures and help communities that really need assistance. Everyone will have these wonderful memories for a lifetime. I have been able to see how the statement “money can't buy happiness" is true. I saw how the less privileged children in Africa are the happiest I have ever met and I will now appreciate everything life has to offer. What a trip this was!!!... Both Zach and Camille came back from the Australia and Hawaii trip totally pleased with the experience. We have to give Westcoast Connection credit because they are both tough customers. They loved it all. Zach tried out lots of challenging new things, e.g., scuba-diving the Great Barrier Reef on his birthday, zorbing, and surfing. Camille really enjoyed the breathtaking vistas, the white water rafting, the wildlife, and making lots of new friends. Thanks Westcoast Connection for another great summer! This was an amazing trip. It was well directed and had terrific staff! I can't wait to do another trip next year! Thanks so much for all the great memories. This experience was unforgettable.
Westcoast was the best summer ever! I know that I am going to keep in touch with all the great friends that I have met. There are no words to describe my summer. Westcoast showed me a way to make over 40 friends in 40 days. I would recommend Westcoast and I would do my trip over and over if I could! From our initial contact with Mitch to Jake's group leaders Dennis and Rachel, everything was done in a very professional and organized manner. Just wanted to send a huge thank you to all of the leaders on Jake’s trip. He had a fabulous time, didn’t want to be home (we actually do consider that a good thing) and generally had nothing but wonderful things to say about his experiences. Thank you all for helping Jake have a great summer. Shoshanna did a great job as a tour director and I enjoyed spending this summer with her. The entire experience blew my mind - great sites and great staff! Shoshanna, the tour director, was caring, understanding, and easy to relate to. The staff was spectacular. Experiencing this trip has made me understand how amazing the world actually is. This was my third Westcoast Connection experience and thanks for another great summer. Brent thought that last year’s trip with you to California was great; however in the 2 or 3 times we spoke to him this summer he has said that this trip is "so amazing". We finally had to cut him off because he was just going on and on about all the things they had been doing and how it was so incredible. He has mentioned virtually every time he has called how great the trip leaders have been. The pictures on the website are great and clearly show what a great time the kids are having. Our only real complaint is that Westcoast doesn't offer an adult version of this trip! Kudos to the entire team for offering such a great experience for the kids. Your entire team should be commended for putting together this amazing adventure for the kids. Our only problem will likely be which Westcoast adventure to send Brent on next year. Thanks for doing such an amazing job. |
