NEW YORK - NEW YORK CITY BREEZY POINT The itinerary was awesome. Everyone was so nice. It was one of the best experiences of my life! BROOKLYN Doing community service in the Amazon Rainforest and in the Galapagos was the most amazing experiences that I ever had. I really appreciate what I have now, more than I did before coming on this trip. I gained so much from this experience and have a different view of the world. I have gained a sense of adventure, and I feel like I have grown as a person, now capable of doing whatever I want to do in life. I have also made friends from all over the country! This was the greatest summer of my life and I wish I could do this every summer. Elizabeth had a great summer. She cannot stop talking about all the wonderful experiences and great people she met. I can't thank you enough for giving her such a great summer trip. An amazing experience! I felt like we all worked so hard and made a huge difference in the families lives and building a home with friends for a family was so rewarding. I now feel more aware of my surroundings and that I know myself a lot better now. I also feel I have better communication skills and a better understanding of what it is like to live in another country. Jillian loved it and had a wonderful experience. She has had great summers before, but this was her favorite. The Community Service trip in Alaska showed me that little actions really do make a big difference. The director and all the other staff couldn’t have been better. I thought the US Explorer was great for Kyle. He had an amazing time. The kids and counselors were great. I was so pleased with everything, the trip, the emails, photos, etc. Keep up the great work. Thank you. DOUGLASTON Thank you for making this trip so exciting & full of fun for my daughter. NEW YORK CITY I will never do another teen tour unless I'm with Westcoast Connection. Westcoast Connection is a guaranteed best summer of your life trip. If you have the opportunity definitely take part in it. You will NOT regret it. My trip surpassed all of my expectations and was the best summer program I have done yet! This trip was an excellent experience. Not only was it a great way to explore Europe and see new cities and cultures but I also made some amazing friends with not only kids but staff as well. I'd love to do another trip - I had an amazing time. The Africa trip was perfect and I enjoyed every moment of it! I have never learned more in my life in such a short period of time, gained more friends or grown more as person than on this trip. I would instantly recommend this trip. I do not have words to explain my gratitude for everything I have learned this summer. It was rewarding working with the school children because we all formed such amazing bonds with the kids that I will cherish forever. Many thanks for a very memorable summer. Amazing trip! Adam had the best summer of his life! I loved the Cusco Orphanage and Asilo Lira Seniors home. Even though I didn’t speak Spanish, I could still communicate and make a difference. My self-confidence and understanding of the world has greatly increased. My staff was very caring and everyone welcomed me and made me feel like I belonged. Everything on this trip was all I thought it would be - a great group of staff, friends and memories! The program was amazing and after seven years of summer camp it was a big difference but it was a great change; I went to places I would never thought I'd go to and met the best friends I'll always stay close with. I met people from all over the world and became so close with them. This trip was so much fun. Every day there were always fun and new activities and many laughs along with it! I had an amazing time! I think this was one of the most positive experiences Weslee could have had. Besides enjoying everyone on the trip, she really got so much out of the service. It's rare to come across a staff team as competent, devoted and personable as the staff I travelled with this summer! I loved my trip. The kids on the trip all seemed really nice and got along easily. The program was one of the most incredible trips I have ever experienced. I wanted to commend the trip director Dani who had great control on the kids and who was resourceful and fun. My daughter, Nicola, thought extremely highly of him. The trip had a great combination of fun, sporting activities, cultural activities and general awareness of each city. This trip was the greatest experience of my life and I had the most amazing time. I learned so much about life in Africa as well as a lot about myself. I formed such a tight bond with every single person in the group. This trip was so much more incredible than I could ever imagine and it was the best time of my life! Possibly the most amazing life changing experience, there are truly no words to describe it. Every aspect of this trip has changed who I am. We had an outstanding group of people that really made the trip reach and surpass its full potential. This summer was the best one I've ever had. I met the most amazing people. Our directors and leaders dedicated themselves to us to make sure we had the greatest summer. The staff on the China trip was extraordinary. Anna had a wonderful sense of the kids on the tour and how to manage them and we are forever grateful. We thought the places visited were fabulous. This was the best summer of my life! My favorite community service project was playing with the kids in La Carpio because it was moving and eye opening. This program has made me a more open minded person. I now have a new perspective on the lives of others. My favorite service project was in La Carpio because it was the most meaningful and life changing experience. The trip was fantastic in every respect. Thank you for giving Avery such a great trip! I am now more motivated to help out! My favorite community service project was the Costa Rica Humanitarian Foundation because I enjoyed building and carrying bunk beds to families and actually seeing the reactions and joy from the families. Amazing trip overall! Participating in this program has made me appreciate more and was such a rewarding experience. Dakota loved her community service trip. Not only helping with the children of the Boys and Girls Club, but the friendships she made during the trip will hopefully continue for a long while. This was the best summer ever. Brenna's trip director Jared was superlative according to my daughter. The food was described as terrific. This was a wonderful experience and my daughter loved it. Louis said it was a trip of a lifetime. Skylar loved the Backpack Europe trip. The group directors kept the kids busy all the time and they covered a lot of ground. Excellent! Thank you for what we know was a life-changing adventure for Andrew. It was wonderful to get your reports and pictures. We are so happy Andrew got to spend time with people so obviously devoted to children and in love with travel. Our daughter Emily had a wonderful trip to Costa Rica last summer with you and we were confident that Andrew's trip would be equally enriching. Many thanks for all you did to make this trip a success for Andrew and the other travelers. I think yours is one of the premiere student summer programs available. We have had a number of experiences and the two best have been with Westcoast Connection. Congratulations to you for your success. Thanks Westcoast Connection for an incredible summer! The work we did at the Boys and Girls Club of Honolulu was so rewarding. The kids were just as sad to see us go as we were to leave them. It was so much easier to make friends than we all expected. I feel like I've known my fellow trip members my whole life and I know I will keep them as friends for the rest of my life. Gabriel's trip has been a gift in terms of confidence, independence, maturity and FUN! This was an incredible experience. My director Ken was on top of everything and he was amazing! James thoroughly enjoyed himself on this trip and will have a lot of lasting memories. He felt a sense of accomplishment by being able to work on building something that made a difference in someone's life and enjoyed working with children. Overall, he gained independence and maturity. The trip had a good balance of service and enough time to play and bond as well. I loved working at Hacienda Healthcare because we got to see the positive reactions in the patient's faces and see how we were changing their lives. It was really rewarding. I had the most amazing time! I felt like I made a difference in the lives of the kids I worked with in Honolulu, and they also made a difference in my life. This trip was really great! I was nervous about coming on my own but I have become more outgoing and I am astounded by the amazing family I have made in the short time of only 18 days. Working with the Boys & Girls Club was the best service project because the kids were the appropriate age and I felt that I was actually helping them. This program has changed my perspective on the world and people. My director Ken was very responsible and kept everyone and everything organized in a fun way. This was the greatest summer of my life. By the second day I felt like I had known the other kids for years. The Australia Outback trip is an experience of a lifetime and the best summer of my life. I tried lots of new things and gained memories that I will never forget. Samantha had the ABSOLUTE best time....and I don't know where to begin. The activities were OUTSTANDING--from diving at the Great Barrier Reef, to the Australia Zoo, to everything else. The counselors were incredible-and a special "thank you" to Rich who personified what a superior counselor/role model/friend/leader should be. Samantha said that one of the things that made WCC different from prior teen tours and trips was the emphasis on bonding. The evening activities (Amazing Race, etc.) really made the kids get closer. She feels like she has made 29 new best friends. She has NOT stopped talking about the trip--and has been in constant touch with both the boys and the girls. She said that she just enjoyed EVERY aspect of her 3 weeks in Australia. Samantha has been to sleep away camp for 6 years, on trips to Europe, to Central America--in other words, she has had many life experiences in her short 15 1/2 years--and I can honestly say that she has NEVER been so enthralled with an experience like she had with your tour company. As a parent, I want to thank your staff. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with everyone. Samantha has told EVERYONE she knows about your program. Thank you SO much for giving her the time of her life! I enjoyed working at the animal shelter because I love animals and it was one of the more hands-on service projects. This program helped me gain a different perspective on things. For example, at Hacienda Health Care, I learned how true it is to not judge a book by its cover. It was a perfect balance of service work, adventure and fun. Great Trip!! Our trip was amazing. By the end, we were all like sisters and brothers! You meet so many great friends and all the counselors are amazing! This trip was definitely my best summer yet! I loved receiving the email detailing what Taylor and the group were doing in Arizona. It really filled us in. Thank you so much for that added touch. Things like that really make a difference to a parent. It is so gratifying to hear about the wonderful experiences Taylor and the kids had, and the positive impact they are learning to bring to the world. In speaking with Taylor, I hear in her voice how much she has grown from this experience. No less than by leaps and bounds. The group is equally fantastic! Isn’t it just great when all the forces align to create such magic? We appreciate your efforts and commitment to making a difference in people’s lives and for giving Taylor such phenomenal experiences. You’ve anchored a passion for community service she will take with her forever. The Boys & Girls Club was the best service project because it's fun to work with kids. This program has shown me how rewarding community service can be. Westcoast Connection was the best summer of my life. I came without knowing anyone and made so many great friends. I loved my director Ken so much. He is absolutely amazing! This has been the best summer of my life! Keep up the good work! Best food ever! I will remember my summer with Westcoast Connection forever and know I will always have my Westcoast Connection friends! Alex loved every part of his 21 day Major League Madness experience. He said "It was the greatest summer of my life." He specifically loved, the counselors, the food, the new friendships, of course the baseball, and he also loved the hotels. Our son has travelled with us all over the country, but he never had as great a time as he did this summer with your group! Amazing experience, I would recommend it to anyone & everyone! Best summer of my life! I made friends that I will have for a long time to come. I loved European Escape! The other kids are amazing and I'm so glad I went. This was by far the best summer ever. I wanted something new after years at camp and this was incredible. This was an unbelievable experience which I would definitely do again. Matt had a wonderful time and bonded with good friends. The staff, kids and activities were amazing. I've challenged myself while having fun and making new friends. I think I have become a better friend and learned to not take things for granted. It was absolutely perfect. The work we did was intense but very rewarding and there were the perfect amount of breaks and fun activities. The bonds you make with people on these trips are irreplaceable. I could not have asked for better friends or memories. We wanted to let you know what a complete success the Alaska trip was for Emma. She just loved it and has been serene and glowing since she came home. She has been full of stories, the activities were enjoyable, well organized and gratifying, and the adults on the trip were dynamic, involved and great with the kids. There was an obvious sense of community among the group that was clearly fostered and supported both by the adults and by the satisfaction generated from their interactions with the communities in which they stayed. It also is obvious that Alaska was the perfect backdrop for all of this -- a beautiful and challenging landscape with people who seemed to be very open to this group of kids. The location offered a great mix of opportunities for meaningful community service and fun. We really could not be more pleased with how things worked out. Westcoast Connection / 360° Student Travel was easy to work with, and you clearly have your act together. The Director Joe was enthusiastic and good natured. My summer in South Africa has truly been the best. The service aspect made the trip for me. My favorite project was working in the Sihlekisi School in Acornhoek. The kids have so little and helping them out in their daily lives made the trip. This program has made me realize how much we take for granted the luxuries at home. Running water, sterile environments and food aren't easily accessible for these kids. The best service project by far was Hogar Ama orphanage because we all made strong connections with the kids. We were able to help them and our work there was appreciated. I loved both immersion projects that we did. They were so different and both helped me improve my Spanish. I've had an AMAZING three and a half weeks. Westcoast Connection / 360º Student Travel is amazing. I'm definitely coming back to Costa Rica sometime soon, and I'd recommend your trips to anyone! Emily loved this trip and it was so well organized and staffed. She raves about the staff and she made many lasting friendships. You’re just a first class operation all around. Thank you for giving her such a wonderful experience. Hogar Ama Orphanage was an amazing service project - I really connected with the kids there. The Zarcero project helped me learn Spanish. I would recommend this trip without reservations because it was the experience of a lifetime. I had so much fun! Hogar Ama was my favorite project because I was able to connect with the kids so well. I made life-long friends there that I will never forget. This trip has taught me to appreciate what I have. It's taught me to always have fun and try hard. The language, community service and adventure components were well-balanced and when combined made for the best trip ever! I really did not have any expectations for this trip. I knew it would be different than my experience last summer, when I went on a tour to Europe. However, this summer was AMAZING! Honestly, this was the summer of a lifetime. This program has given me a deeper appreciation for what I have and the life that I live. It also showed me that doing volunteer & community work not only affects the people we help, but it also has a positive impact on the volunteers. My favorite projects were La Carpio and Concepcion. The kids that we worked with were adorable. You could see the impact that we made on them the second they saw us--they were ecstatic to do all of the activities and meet new, friendly teenagers. This trip was amazing! Danny is an extremely chill Director and relates well to everybody. All the adventure programs that we did were exciting and fun. The projects were extremely rewarding and fun at the same time. The friends you meet become your best friends and the memories you make will last a life-time. This is a summer you will never forget. I've done two Westcoast Connection/360° trips and I've loved every minute of both of them. I loved the CPI language school - the teachers were awesome and I really learned to speak Spanish. We weren't just taking notes like in school. The language component of the trip gave me an opportunity to actually speak Spanish instead of just learning it in a classroom. Sarah had an absolutely wonderful time. Thank you for making the trip a really memorable one! Zachary had a wonderful, safe, adventure. Please maintain the wonderful supervision, friendliness and openness of the staff, and the overall tone of the tour. Tyler had a great time. We were happy with all aspects of your program. Our tour director Alli was everything a director should be, even better. She was very laid back, yet responsible. It was the best summer of my life, and I wish it never ended!
