NEW YORK ARDSLEY This trip was the best summer I've ever because it was the perfect blend of fun, while exploring For the second summer, Erica had a WONDERFUL experience traveling with your organization. Communication was excellent and trip objectives were achieved. Thank you for a well organized excellent trip. It was a completely positive experience and we appreciate the effort that went into the planning and execution I would highly recommend you to anyone! The service was great- a real eye opener, and I loved the adventure. Building the bunk beds for the Humanitarian Foundation was the best service project because I got to see the living conditions of the impoverished people and it felt like I was doing something really useful. I have a better understanding of the way these people live. I'm definitely not going to take anything for granted anymore. My director JP had a really positive attitude and was so caring. My other leaders were also so nice, caring, fun and cool. I thought the service and the adventure were very well balanced. Ilana had a wonderful time in Community Service California has shown me how easy it is to be an active member of your community. Jill loved it! She had a great time. She loved the Tour director Heidi. I never though I could have such an amazing summer. I have made life long friends and would love to go on another Westcoast trip. Dana had “the time of her life”. It was a tremendous growing experience for her. I had the greatest summer of my life on this trip and if I could go back I definitely would! Jenette had a fantastic time! She commented on how well the group got along. This was a growing experience for her that will positively affect her future! Thanks for giving Jenette the best summer! The staff became our friends and everyone became a family. Danielle Rowe ARMONK On my first trip, Westcoast Connection was the summer of a lifetime. I loved every minute of it. It was such a great experience and I got the chance to try many new things that I wouldn't be able to do anywhere else. On my second trip, the fun of community service was beyond what I expected. I really enjoyed Humanitarian Foundation because I was really able to connect with the people we were helping. I have learned to appreciate everything I have. My director JP was excellent-he had great energy and was always motivated. I was able to help people and also meet a bunch of new friends. It was rewarding and life changing. My director Heidi was amazing and was always helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed this trip - it was fun and exciting and I would do another Westcoast Connection/ 360 Student Travel trip again! It was very nice to hear about all of the positive experiences that Jacob shared with me. He really enjoyed his tour and the fact that he said he would do it again tells me that you all did a great job!! Helen Katz Thank you for everything. Brian had a great time. When Ashleigh came home she expressed what a fantastic trip she had and how terrific, encouraging and motivating Cayleigh was along with Adam and Naomi. Your company is fortunate to have them on your staff. The overall communications with your summer office was very good. Susan was understanding and efficient. We would definitely recommend Westcoast Connection to my friends for their teenagers. This was truly a rewarding experience. As a parent I want to thank and commend you for a job more than well done. From the first telephone call inquiry about the tour until Doug stepped off the plane today, I knew I was dealing with a company that was organized and professional. Every time I spoke to him during the trip I was further assured of how well things were run. He knew what was expected of him, and what the rules were from the beginning. These rules however, did not interfere with his good times, but enhanced it. The counselors and tour director conducted themselves as professionals, but were not above hanging out and having fun with the kids. I would absolutely recommend Westcoast Connection to anyone looking for this type of experience for their child. Thank you again. BRIARCLIFF Alan had an amazing time. All positive! The Boys & Girls club was the best community service because I formed amazing bonds. This program has opened my eyes and has shown me how as much as I have changed people's lives, they have changed mine more! My Westcoast Connection trip was something I will never forget. I got to see some of the most well known places in the world and I made friends that I'll keep forever. Westcoast Connection came very highly recommended and met all of my expectations. It was very organized, well run, and the kids were busy with a nice variety of activities. We didn't know if Matt could have as great a summer as last year's trip with Westcoast, but he did! Every time we spoke to him he was incredibly enthusiastic about all the activities he was doing and the friendships he was making. It's a great program. An amazing experience. I felt like we all worked so hard and made a huge difference in the families lives and building a home with friends for a family was so rewarding. I now feel more aware of my surroundings and that I know myself a lot better now. I also feel I have better communication skills and a better understanding of what it is like to live in another country. Jillian loved it and had a wonderful experience. She has had great summers before, but this was her favorite. The Community Service trip in The director and all the other staff couldn’t have been better. I thought the US Explorer was great for Kyle. He had an amazing time. The kids and counselors were great. I was so pleased with everything, the trip, the emails, photos, etc. Keep up the great work. Thank you. BROOKVILLE I didn't know what to expect of the service and language but I ended up bonding and having so much more fun than I thought. Before this trip I was ok at Spanish and had trouble with conversation. I feel as though I can carry on a conversation in Spanish now! I am more grateful for what I have at home and I am now more open to trying new things. My director Ken was really entertaining throughout the summer and made it all the more enjoyable! Without a doubt I will be back on another Westcoast Connection trip. The staff was exceptional in the way they planned out every thing in a timely and organized way. I came not knowing anyone and in the first day I knew I had started the best summer of my life! I had the most amazing summer. The trip was incredible! The most amazing summer of my life! Michaelann had an amazing summer!! CLARENCE This is the first trip that Arielle took alone, not knowing anyone. She was pretty frightened, but when she came home she was so excited to tell us what a fantastic time she had, how great the guides were, and all the fun times. We definitely will send her again. My Spanish grammar improved, my vocabulary expanded and my confidence with the language increased-it was all balanced very well! This program has helped me improve my team building skills as well as help me to become bilingual. The entire experience was well worth it and was a lot of fun to travel. The people, culture, and activities were amazing and I would do it again without hesitation! Ben had a wonderful experience on his language immersion/ community service trip in This trip has made me appreciate things I have at home more. Great balance of immersion, adventure and service! Going on this service trip to Rachel Orfinger CONGERS The CORTLANDT MANOR I loved my tour director Alli. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. This trip was beyond our expectations! Just wanted to congratulate you on the great job you all did with the Alaska Community Service trip. Julia had such an amazing time. She has been raving about everything; the people, the places, the community service and the trips. This will be one of the most memorable summers of her life. Thank you all. I had one of the best times in my life. We got to work directly with people and see the effect on them. This trip has made me realized that the smallest deed could change someone’s life so positively. I had an amazing time that I will never forget. Everyone on the trip was great, the staff and the kids. The trip was beyond what I though it would be. I would love to do it again. Everything that happened was positive. We were VERY happy with Westcoast. Our girls have gone to sleep away camp for years but this was our first teen tour. Before and during the tour we felt like every question we had was addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. The office could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Most importantly Justine had an amazing time. We always felt like she was safe and was being taken care of very well. Her trip was very well supervised and very well run. I never thought that simple things like painting a gym or planting a garden could help out as much as they do. After coming on this trip, though, I see that such things have lasting effects. I never thought I could spend one month with 16 people I had never met before and become so close with them. I got to do so many new things. This program opened my eyes to a culture that is simpler and more laid-back than American culture. After this trip I feel more comfortable speaking Spanish, even with natives. Alexa Myers Thank you for the absolutely incredible summer Heather had on her trip this summer- it was most certainly a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience which she will remember forever! We could not have been happier how EVERYTHING went from our initial conversations with Ira! The communication via email during the trip was excellent; the pictures the staff took were wonderful and helped us see how happy Heather was. The action-packed days and nights were all you said it would be and we felt there was exactly the right amount of supervision to make us feel comfortable yet she was given independence throughout the tour too. She made the most wonderful friends who she has already seen some, and we are grateful that you placed her on the most perfect tour!!! We hope she will be traveling with Westcoast again! From the moment we met the counselors at the airport we felt very comfortable. They were delightful people and we knew our daughter would enjoy their company and leadership. She came home thinking of them more as friends than counselors. ELMSFORD You make so many new friends and it's a great experience. We visited some of the most beautiful places in the world! FLORAL PARK Mark was extremely helpful. The staff was very well trained and acted responsibly. We will definitely send Jana on another teen tour with Westcoast and we will recommend your tour highly. He met one of the girls from the trip when we went to GLEN COVE The Tour Director Whitney was very kind with all proper leadership skills and yet easy to approach about anything. GREAT NECK The counselors were amazing and very accommodating. This program helped me grow as a person and gave me opportunities I would never have. Habitat for Humanity was the best community service because it directly helped one family that was in desperate need of help. Because of this trip I am now more grateful for what I have and the life my family provides for me. HEWLETT I loved every moment. The people and the places were better than I could ever have imagined. The balance of community service, adventure, work & fun was perfect. I felt like I was on a summer vacation and at the same time making a difference. The service was such a rewarding experience. On no other summer trip can you help children one day and then climb a glacier the next. It was the perfect balance between work and play. I know this was truly a trip of a lifetime. Dara Slepoy
Dara had the time of her life! The trip leaders and were her fellow trip mates were terrific. The combination of adventure/fun and community service really made the experience extra special. I had an amazing time. I made many new friends, and would definitely do another WCC trip. This summer was a tremendously positive experience for Josh on so many levels! We always got the feeling that the trip was very well planned, that there was the right balance between safety and independence, and that the lines of communication were always open. Our son had the best summer and for that, we are very grateful. I have gained friends I will keep forever. This trip allowed me to see very different places that I would not have had the opportunity to experience. The tour leaders, especially Dersh, set a positive tone for the whole group. Katy said Dersh was a good friend to the kids as well as being competent as a group leader. Also, we didn’t get any complaints about the camping! Robin & Jed Stricker There is nothing more important in our lives than our kids, and sending one away for 3 weeks with no one she knew was a much easier task for her than for us. If you recall, we "interviewed" you before choosing Westcoast Connection for Ariel. The main reason for choosing Westcoast Connection was that you had the ability to address both the trip in a great way for Ariel and the security and supervision issues for us. You made us feel as comfortable as possible. We will admit, her traveling without any friends concerned us at the beginning but you were right, it was the best way for her to travel. She had an unbelievable time and made some friendships that could very well last a lifetime. She also grew and matured during this trip, an experience you cannot get from a textbook. As for your leaders, they were excellent. So we want to thank you for running such a professional operation and for employing the types of people you do, whether in your offices or on the trips. They are all superb. Building the playground was my favorite part of the Community Service Belize program. There was actually nothing there to start, and then in 4 days I could see it and say “Wow I built that.” The counselors were awesome & the programs were amazing. Our Director Cayleigh was always happy, organized & nice. Very responsible, too. This was an excellent teen tour and I would definitely recommend it. The different types of people were all very nice. This was by far the most amazing summer I’ve ever had. Lindsay had a great trip! Every stop they made, she sounded more excited than the previous one. I loved the CPI language school - the teachers were awesome and I really learned to speak Spanish. We weren't just taking notes like in school. The language component of the trip gave me an opportunity to actually speak Spanish instead of just learning it in a classroom. Jaclyn Katz

This was our daughter’s first teen tour. We were very pleased with the company and how the program was run. She loved all the counselors and made many friends. I gained many friends and confidence in doing community service, and it was fun too. It was like a month vacation and I got to go to a lot of new places I haven't been to before. It was very well planned and the hotels were really nice. She was always available to talk to, happy, cheerful, fun, etc. From the minute I got off the plane I felt like I was part of a family. It was better than anything I could have ever dreamed of. Everything was perfect. In I had one of the best experiences ever. I met the nicest diversified group of teenagers. My counselors were awesome. ROSLYN I have done Westcoast Connection trips 3 summers in a row and I have had the best 3 summers of my life. I got to travel the world and meet amazing people. The trip was well organized and fun-packed. The kids were cool and open to making friends. The staff worked well together. My director Ben was very organized and able to be cool and fun. This program has made me realize how big of a difference I can make for others. This program was a great opportunity to see new places and give back to the community, plus I met great new people! WCC was a very well-organized and fun program for teenagers. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. I didn’t think 7 years of camp could be topped, but somehow this trip was able to do that. This was truly a once and a lifetime experience, and I could not have done it with more amazing people. Thank you so much, I’ll never forget this. The Tour Director Jason was amazing.
Our tour director was the best. She really respected us so we really respected her. She knew what we needed at 17 yrs old. Our staff really cared about making this the best summer. I loved how well organized the trip seemed. Every bit of it was amazing. It was more perfect than I expected. Robin had a tremendous experience. The staff did a terrific job getting all the kids to know one another and socialize with each other. We appreciate how attentive the Director Meg was to Robin and how responsible and thoughtful she was to us. It was just the right measure of supervision and allowing for some independence. It was just a wonderful summer. We would like to thank you again for providing Monica with a wonderful and memorable summer experience. SEARINGTOWN WCC was by far the best summer experience ever. I wouldn’t ask for it any other way. I love my 48 new friends and six “older” best friends (the counselors) Dersh, Doug, Mikaela, Ryan, Amy and Meg so much. SETAUKET The programs, staff and activities in Ellie Arbeit Virtually every day of Ellie’s trip was amazing. The sites, friendships, staff, camping, accommodations and all the experiences were unforgettable. The goodbye scene at the airport was incredible with tears, hugging, and promises to stay in touch. They phoned each other during the car ride home and then Instant Messaged each other into the night. Thank you for creating such magic. This is my third Westcoast Connection / 360° Student Travel trip, and you have once again amazed me. Our Leader Dawn was excellent and so organized! The activities were really fun and the counselors were really nice. Helping at La Carpio was the best because the kids there were so open and enthusiastic. I have become more aware of the world and I am definitely more adventurous as a result of this trip. Excellent all around experience for Christine! The trip was very organized from start to finish. The periodic updates and the pictures posted regularly were great resources that made us feel connected with the group. It was a wonderful experience for her. He was looking to do something different this summer and this trip combined all his favorite activities (rock climbing, ropes course, kayaking), plus he made new friends who we believe he will keep in touch with. It was a great experience. We wish we had this experience when we were kids. The kids on the trip were not obsessed with clothes and hair etc., but in having fun and trying new experiences. The people were awesome and I did things I will never get to do again. The director Jason was awesome. He gave us enough freedom and he led us while being our friend at the same time. This summer in Rian Rosen The tour director Alli Kaye is the best. She understands teenagers and meets our needs. When the staff enforced rules they are not meant to be mean, but to be safe. Lindsay enjoyed her European trip immensely. She loved the group of kids and the leaders. We loved seeing the web-site and pictures of the trip. We will highly recommend it! Excellent people, excellent places, and a great 3 weeks. My first summer was phenomenal. Between the staff, the friends, and the activities; I couldn’t have asked for a better summer! Now this year my backpack Annica had an absolutely wonderful trip. She was so sorry to see it end! There were so many unusual activities which made the trip unique and perfect for the age group. Along with all the wonderful locations, the counselors were terrific, and the camaraderie of the group made this a very special experience which will be remembered for a very long time. I had so much fun on this trip! I wish it were longer. Everyone was extremely nice and all the activities were amazing! The baseball trip was the best summer ever! I learned so much! It was my first time away from home and it was great! Avery Decker Dear Mark, We just wanted to let you know that our son Avery had an Amazing time on your teen tour "Major League Madness". He still talks about his experience and the fun he had going to all the baseball stadiums, meeting the baseball players and getting autographs. The leaders of the trip were great and they made Avery feel comfortable right from the start about leaving home. He really enjoyed the counselor Scott. Avery enjoyed hearing all about Scott's baseball experience and especially how to get autographs and how to get in touch with the players. He definitely was an asset to your tour company to have someone as knowledgeable as him on this trip. Keep up the good work and let us know what you have planned for next year’s trip!!
