Our visit to the Costa Rica Humanitarian Foundation was very meaningful and worthwhile. For me, it was a brand new experience working in La Carpio and my eyes were opened when I saw the way some people live. I am motivated to go home with a new appreciation for what I have and continue community service. My Director Julie was very organized and my leader Josh was so energetic, positive, and fun. Every aspect of this trip went beyond my expectations. The trip members and leaders were great and the service projects were outstanding. She has downloaded all her photos on our computers where we have constant montages playing so we get to enjoy everything as well. She will always carry you in heart. It’s a definite gift you all have to be able to keep all these teenagers from all over with all different personalities engaged, happy and thriving.
