Fantastic Campus Stays

We select the finest, centrally located dorms based on safety and proximity to our itinerary. Each tour member has an individual bed to ensure they can get a proper night’s rest.

San Francisco State University (3 nights)

Whether you’ve just been to see Alcatraz or walked down the crookedest street in the US or sampled Ghirardelli chocolates, our dorms are close by. You’ll get a taste for university life as we begin our adventure together.

UCLA ~ Dorms and Suites (3 nights)

The UCLA campus is amazing and after staying here you might want to add them to your college apps. We’ll be staying right on campus, get the chance to use their unmatched facilities and we’ll definitely go check out the UCLA store, so you can pick up a jersey. You know you can wear it with pride as in 2007 UCLA became the first US College to win 100 team championships. GO Bruins! Check It Out!

University of California at San Diego (2 nights)

After a day of surf lessons or encountering the animals at world famous San Diego Zoo come back to this striking campus and look back on the 14 action packed days and wish it were longer!

Camping – the way it ought to be

Our camping experience is extremely comfortable and designed to give you a feel for the scenic areas we visit.

Our experienced leaders will introduce you to the joy of camping and guide you in everything you need to know. On this trip, you will stay at private campgrounds where you'll find private hot showers and bathroom facilities. You’ll enjoy sturdy cabin style tents (16'x10') with windows and floors and with quick and simple set-up.  With 6 students per tent, there is plenty of room for you to have your bag with you in your tent. Westcoast provides deluxe camping cots and self-inflating Thermarest air mattresses for a great night's sleep.

Lake Tahoe Campground (3 nights)
You couldn’t picture a more perfect and serene place. Crisp blue lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and of course almost always a sunny day, Tahoe is a dream camping experience! After a busy day of water-skiing or rafting, we can come back to the site to relax and enjoy the facilities, maybe take a dip in the swimming pool or the Jacuzzi or play some tennis or hoops. This resort campsite is tops!

Ventura Beach Campground (2 nights)
Pacific Ocean here we come! Our campsite is literally 50 yards from the beach and the surf. The perfect way to recharge the batteries. Of course our massive brunch helps a little too!
